Big News:
I GOT THE JOB!!!
This past Tuesday I was offered the job of Assistant Men's Pastor at Irving Bible Church. I am ecstatic about this opportunity. My focus will be encouraging young men to grow closer to Jesus through our various programs. It's going to be an exciting adventure and I can't wait to get my feet wet. My official start date is October 8. Please keep me in your prayers. God has been so good to provide this ministry position before I'm even done with my classes at seminary. Everything fell in place so easily, which tells me that it's from God.
I will inform the hospital today that I have two weeks left with them. However, I will continue to work for them on an as needed basis. This will keep me connected with some of the people I have grown to love. And, it will provide a little extra cash flow - since I'm taking a pay-cut with this new job.
